Santa Monica, CA, January 17, 2006 - Cornerstone OnDemand, integrated on-demand enterprise software solutions for talent management, today announced that ESAB, the world's largest supplier of welding consumables and equipment, has signed a multi-year agreement with Cornerstone OnDemand to provide a robust, learning management system (LMS). ESAB will utilize Cornerstone's LMS to transform its instructor-led training program into a blended learning program through one centralized administrative and management application.
"Our organization was in need of a centralized solution to streamline and manage our instructor-led training process and to deliver a more efficient blended approach to learning," said Jill Heiden, Vice President of Human Resources, ESAB. "We selected Cornerstone based on its integrated learning and performance management tools which will allow us to develop and rollout a plan to meet our future goals for implementing a performance-driven learning program focused on talent development."
In addition to administering training, ESAB will implement Cornerstone's learning management system in order to track and manage compliance with HR-related topics such as harassment, business ethics, diversity and violence in the workplace and other compliance topics that are becoming more and more critical to organizations today.
"Cornerstone OnDemand provides cost-effective, scalable solutions to meet the needs of any organization without holding back on functionality," said Jon Hanson, Vice President of Sales, Cornerstone OnDemand. "ESAB is a good example of a client that will achieve significant savings in administration costs from automating the process based on Cornerstone's ability to ease the burdens associated with scheduling and administering instructor-led training. And, because Cornerstone provides an integrated, modular design, ESAB can implement additional learning and performance functionality to meet future human capital management needs."
