Strategic Session to Address How Integrated Learning and Performance Can Affect Organizational Change with a Comprehensive Workforce Development Process
Santa Monica, CA, September 6, 2006 – Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc., the leading provider of integrated on-demand enterprise software solutions for talent management, today announced its President and CEO, Adam Miller, will present at the 2006 Workforce Performance conference. This year’s conference will be held at the Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The presentation titled “Elevate Your Development Efforts with Integrated Learning and Performance” will be held on September 13th, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
“While an LMS provides a number of workplace efficiencies, learning management alone isn’t enough to affect organizational change,” said Adam Miller, Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. “Talent management takes the best of the LMS and integrates these features with performance, succession management and more, to provide holistic employee development solutions that truly impact every employee as well as the bottom line.”
The 60 minute presentation will focus on best-practices for effectively developing the workforce using a Talent Management system. Attendees will learn how a Talent Management system picks up where Learning Management systems leave off, elevating training to an interactive change affecting the comprehensive workforce development process.
A recent report by Bersin & Associates, “Performance Management 2006: Market Analysis, Trends, Best Practices, and Vendor Profiles,” highlighted the trend toward convergence of learning and performance. The report revealed that 63 percent of respondents wanted to link performance, development, and learning and that the biggest integration challenge organizations face in accomplishing this goal is the integration of performance management systems with learning management systems.
