Growth of internal team of experts, new strategic partnerships to help companies
further maximize their human capital investments
Santa Monica, Calif., September 3, 2008 – More organizations are recognizing the importance of having an integrated talent management strategy. However, a weaker economic environment and reductions in corporate spending are making it even more imperative for companies to ensure they are seeing a measurable impact on their business and maximizing their investments. With this in mind, integrated talent management software and services leader Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. today unveiled enhancements to its Consulting Services offerings to further support its clients’ business needs. This includes expanded consulting offerings via the growth of its internal team of expert consultants, as well as strategic partnerships with world-class service firms.
The enhancements support Cornerstone’s continued success in helping organizations identify opportunities to address business challenges, easily configure Cornerstone’s software to drive additional value, and seamlessly integrate the tailored offering with their existing systems and content. Cornerstone’s consultants and partners also are available to work with companies post-implementation, offering strategic business services to ensure they receive the optimal return on their investment.
“In order to see a real impact, companies must align their talent management solution to their specific business needs,” said Kirsten Maas Helvey, Vice President of Consulting Services for Cornerstone OnDemand. “The most efficient and effective way to do this is by utilizing your software vendor as a strategic partner versus a tactical vendor. The Cornerstone consulting team acts as a trusted advisor to our clients throughout the solution’s lifecycle, helping them discover opportunities to solve specific issues and drive real value throughout their organization through initial implementation of the software and beyond.”
Cornerstone’s consulting capabilities are focused on four key areas:
- Business Services, such as business case development, ROI assessments, benchmarking studies, change management solutions and implementation services.
- Technical Services, including systems integration, software customization and content integration.
- Educational Services, such as custom, central and online training, e-learning consulting, online help, and coaching.
- Content Services, such as e-learning content selection and curriculum design, vendor management, and content aggregation. Cornerstone works with leading e-learning content vendors to seamlessly distribute more than 30,000 online courses in 19 different languages.
To support growth, Cornerstone has strengthened the consulting group’s leadership. David Somers, Senior Director of Consulting Services, will lead the group’s effort to build out Cornerstone’s business consulting capabilities via partner channels and the continued development of internal client service offerings. Additionally, Kevin Schultz, Director of Implementation Services, will focus on continuing to increase the quality and speed of client implementations. The company also recently hired David Goings as the new Director of Cornerstone’s Technical Consulting team to further streamline the client service experience and reduce implementation times.
To further improve its scalability and meet the demands of its growing customer base, Cornerstone is expanding the depth and breadth of its consulting offerings by forming strategic alliances with category leaders such as business and SaaS technology integration and consulting firms Astadia and Sequent, as well as corporate learning integration and consulting firms such as Intrepid Learning Solutions and RapidLD.
“With the right internal leadership and expertise, as well as expanded alliances with world-class consulting companies, we will be able to refine best practices, create efficiencies and reduce implementation costs for our clients,” commented Maas Helvey. “It also enables us to offer additional, more specialized services, such as expertise for vertical industries such as healthcare and the public sector.”
