GSA Awards Information Technology Contract to Cornerstone OnDemand

Contract enables Cornerstone to offer its on-demand learning and talent management software to local, state and federal government purchasers


Santa Monica, Calif., March 11, 2009 Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. has been awarded a five-year Information Technology (IT) Schedule Contract by the General Services Administration (GSA), the company announced today.  The GSA provides workplaces, technology solutions and acquisition services for federal agencies and leverages its buying power to get the best value for taxpayers.  Cornerstone’s contract enables the company to efficiently offer local, state and federal government purchasers its on-demand, integrated learning and talent management software and services for developing, managing and connecting employees.

The GSA IT Schedule Contract, also known as the Schedule 70, provides federal customers with a streamlined vehicle for purchasing information technology hardware, software and professional services.  The Schedule 70 Contract is one of only two schedules currently open to state and local government, in addition to federal agencies.  To obtain the contract award, Cornerstone was required to meet strict criteria set forth by the GSA.


Cornerstone’s GSA Schedule Contract, Number GS-35F-0247V, is good through February 22, 2014.  The contract focuses on Cornerstone’s core competencies of learning, compliance, performance, compensation and succession planning, which fall under Special Item Numbers (SINs) 132-32 (Term Software License), 132-34 (Maintenance of Software), and 132-50 (Classroom Training). 


In addition to the GSA IT Schedule Contract, Cornerstone is among the preferred providers of the USA Learning Consortium, which provides online learning for more than 1.8 million federal employees.  The National Technical Information Services (NTIS) also recently selected Cornerstone to provide an on-demand talent management system to assess performance and competencies, target development and enable career planning for critical job roles across federal agencies.
