Why Cornerstone

The Friedkin Group (TFG) has seen massive business growth over the last 50+ years. Today, its automotive business is one of the largest in the country, distributing vehicles and car parts to more than 150 dealerships. TFG also expanded into other business areas.

To continue this growth, TFG needed a learning platform that would support career development organization-wide. But finding a solution dynamic enough to meet the needs of associates across the business posed a challenge.

Designed in the style of YouTube and Netflix, Content Anytime subscriptions look and feel like platforms associates are already using to learn and consume content. By making learning on the job fast, easily accessible, and userfriendly, TFG increased engagement from associates.

Learning that’s as diverse as TFG’s business. Content Anytime’s ability to satisfy diverse learning preferences made it a perfect fit for TFG. For example, drivers in the company’s trucking business unit are always on the go, so many of them prefer on-demand learning courses that they can access at their convenience from wherever their work takes them.

While all this learning might be overwhelming to navigate, the Content Anytime interface helps personalize course listings to each associate. To make it even easier to find the courses associates need, TFG configured the subscriptions to give leaders of all levels the ability to create learning playlists and post relevant content for their specific department. Associates can subscribe to these playlists and receive automatic notifications whenever new course content is available.
