A commitment to improving D&I starts at talent acquisition. Organizations must have processes that promote diversity and provide roles for all genders, ages, races, and ethnicities. When an organization can do that, they increase hiring transparency and confront unconscious biases. Then compliance in hiring becomes second nature for them.
