Perry Wallack


Perry Wallack is a co-founder and the former Chief Financial Officer for Cornerstone OnDemand.

As a co-founder of Cornerstone, Perry was the chief financial officer of the company since its inception in 1999 until June, 2016. During this time, he built a world-class finance organization and led the company’s financial and accounting operations throughout Cornerstone’s growth trajectory as it emerged into a leading global talent management vendor and one of the world’s largest cloud software companies. During Wallack's tenure as chief financial officer, Cornerstone’s performance made it one of the fastest growing publicly-traded software companies in the world, with compounded annual revenue growth of 50 percent since the company’s initial public offering in 2011.

With 24 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax and operations, Wallack has a wealth of expertise in several strategic financial disciplines, including financial planning, taxation, auditing and accounting for both public and private companies. Perry spent the majority of his early career with Ernst & Young LLP, where he was responsible for managing tax and audit staff, engagement budgets and issuing financial statements for key clients.

In 2011, Perry was named the TechAmerica Overall Financial Star of the Year, the award's highest honor. In 2014, he was honored by the Spark Program with their Spark Leadership Award to honor his outstanding leadership in promoting and supporting this influential youth apprenticeship program.

Wallack serves on the board of TigerText and Kareo.

Perry holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is a CPA (inactive).
