How to Enable JavaScript

To help enhance your browser experience, Cornerstone uses scripting. You will need to enable JavaScript on your browser before you can use the Cornerstone application.

How to enable JavaScript will depend on what browser you are using.

  • Internet Explorer
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox

Internet Explorer

Follow these instructions to activate and enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer.

  1. In the Tools drop-down menu, select Internet Options
  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Select the earth (Internet) icon
  4. Select the Custom Level button
  5. Locate Scripting near the bottom of the list
  6. Under Active Scripting, select Enable, then hit OK
  7. Answer yes to the following confirmation box
  8. Hit OK to close the Internet Options window
  9. Finally, hit refresh on your browser window to enjoy the JavaScript

Google Chrome

Follow these instructions to activate and enable JavaScript in Chrome.

  1. Select Customize and control Google Chrome (the icon with 3 stacked horizontal lines) to the right of the address bar
  2. From the drop-down menu, select Settings
  3. At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings...
  4. Under Privacy, select the Content settings...button
  5. Under the JavaScript heading, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button

Mozilla Firefox

Follow these instructions to activate and enable JavaScript in Firefox.

  1. In the Tools drop-down menu, select Options
  2. Select the Content icon/tab at the top on the window
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript check box under the Web Content category
  4. Hit OK to close the Options window and save your changes
  5. Refresh your browser
