Cornerstone OnDemand Receives
FedRAMP Authorization from US
Federal Government

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Feb. 9, 2016 Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), a global leader in cloud-based talent management software solutions, today announced it has achieved compliance with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP, a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. As one of the only talent management solutions to receive FedRAMP authorization, Cornerstone has demonstrated its commitment to ensuring a secure environment for U.S. government clients looking to effectively recruit, train, manage and connect their employees.

FedRAMP is designed to save time and costs associated with security assessments of cloud service providers among federal government organizations. Taking a “do once, use many” approach, FedRAMP exists to enable rapid and cost-effective procurement of information systems and services, eliminate duplicate assessment efforts, and ensure consistent application of information security standards across all government organizations.

According to a survey conducted by Cornerstone, 78 percent of federal agency human capital executives feel their current talent management programs fall short. Top priority areas include recruiting the right people, developing internal talent, and identifying and closing the skills gap. With the FedRAMP authorization, Cornerstone’s unified talent management suite will help support these and other talent management priorities, ultimately increasing productivity and collaboration among a multi-generational workforce.

Veris Group, LLC, an accredited third party assessment organization, worked closely with Cornerstone, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the FedRAMP Program Management Office to conduct the security assessment of Cornerstone’s software suite. In addition to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, other U.S. government organizations that use Cornerstone include the Department of Commerce, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Department of Transportation, among others.
