Professional Services Engagement Manager – Washington D.C. area


You will be responsible for managing projects and client-facing activities to provide best practice consulting and implement our world class enterprise software products for our largest and most strategic customer projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the project including project status communications with customer executives, internal management, and project stakeholders. You will work closely with the Enterprise Implementation team to deliver the highest quality consulting services. The team facilitates workshops around Talent Management best-practices and transformation enablers (i.e. Change Management, Governance, Process Re-engineering). Engagements may consist of a mix of both private sector and public sector clients.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide a consistent discipline and approach in ensuring that client expectations made during the sales cycle are adequately and realistically supported and executed during the delivery/deployment cycle.
  • Support the Implementation Services teams in the crafting of solutions that support the implementation of the CSOD product
  • Provide best practice consulting and functional guidance to clients integrating to a SaaS solution
    Overall Project framing and Project Management Office responsibilities
  • Facilitate the development of project plans, tracking, prioritization and overall management over the life cycle of the project
  • Define customer business requirements and prepare gap analysis
  • Facilitate the development and execution of Strategic Implementation Workshops (i.e. Talent Management Best-Practices, Change Management Framework, Governance Models)
  • Oversee Completion of related implementation deliverables
  • Manage all client-facing responsibilities for engagement management projects
  • Work as a liaison Consultant throughout the organization to establish best practices for consulting project delivery
  • Ensure that the voice of the customer (VOC) is at the forefront of the engagement processes and activity while keeping a realistic balance with the voice of the business (VOB)


Required Skills and Experience


  • Must be in the D.C. vicinity or surrounding area preferably
  • Experience working for a SAAS vendor and/or Talent Management solutions a plus
  • B.A/B.S or equivalent experience or Project Management certification
  • Minimum 5-7 years of business process or professional services consulting experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 Talent Management, Learning, or Performance solution implementations
  • Experience in consulting environment as a Functional Lead
  • Experience leading Change Management of transformation initiatives a strong plus
  • Ability to deal with and resolve complex customer business issues
