Cartoon Coffee Break: Getting Too Comfortable

Numerous studies have shown that employees who bring their true selves to work are happier—and more productive. But what does that actually mean? And how can HR empower employees to feel comfortable being themselves? Start by asking employees about their habits and passions outside of work. What did they do last weekend? What’s their favorite lunch spot? Little by little, these simple questions will encourage employees to open up about who they are, allowing your organization to create a work environment that celebrates diverse and authentic perspectives.
