Connect Live 2022: The key to unlocking the potential in everyone
For the first time since after Covid-19, we were able to hold our two flagship events in Europe – Connect Live in London and Paris. In both cities, the excitement was palpable. The large conference rooms were filled to the rafters with customers, who had come together to connect with peers and learn all about Cornerstone’s latest news and innovations. Not only that, but several of Cornerstone’s executive leadership team presented, including our CEO Himanshu Palsule, our CTO Karthik Suri, and the company’s Chief International Officer, Vincent Belliveau. An incredibly rare treat to get so many of our leaders under one roof!
Unleashing limitless potential
Himanshu Palsule, our CEO, started the day telling us about the new Cornerstone. The acceleration of the global transformation and modernisation of the workplace has seen demand grow for new technologies that can help HR leaders engage their workforce, close skills gaps, retain talent, and improve organisational agility.
Himanshu explained it is Cornerstone who is taking responsibility to create the platform to unleash the power of learning and unlock the limitless potential of people. Cornerstone looks to support talent leaders of today, and has imagined a fully connected journey, one that is future proof and that harnesses the power of learning and data. This is the new Cornerstone TXP, which exists to create inspiring and aligned growth opportunities for people, whilst optimising decision-making and improving agility for organisations.
Holistic growth experience, powered by AI
Karthik Suri, our CTO, then took to the stage to give the audience a closer look at the new Cornerstone TXP. The room was given a glimpse into how the TXP offers a comprehensive, holistic growth experience, powered by an intelligent and AI-driven tech fabric. The platform offers best-in-class learning and talent management, and brings a future-proof architecture that is flexible and open – able to seamlessly connect to other applications across the ecosystem.
The room was then treated to live demos of Cornerstone Learning, Skills, Content and Opportunity Marketplace. Opportunity Marketplace, available in 2023, is Cornerstone’s latest innovation built on the foundation of EdCast. It extends the learning, performance and development experience by connecting career growth and mobility opportunities to employees
Inspirational stories from our customers
As well as advancements within Cornerstone, these Connect Live events were 100% about our customers. We don’t call ourselves customer obsessed for no reason! And we were sure to hand over the mic and share the limelight. Vincent Belliveau held roundtables in both countries, talking with the likes of Deutsche Post DHL, Novartis, Husqvarna, PWC, Danone and Soitec. These discussions were an opportunity for our customers to talk through their own learning and talent journeys, the transformations they had already undergone, and what was coming next.
We also had intimate Peer Inspiration sessions. Jean-Charles Noirot, Deputy Director at Sopra Steria Academy, talked through the roadmap the institution has been following – including giving employees the keys to developing their skills, democratising new teaching practices and enhancing the community of internal trainers.
In London, Dominic Holmes, Principal Strategy and Value at Cornerstone, was joined by several customers. Deutsche Post DHL and Notion featured in this session, Unlocking Business Value Through Skills Development, which covered several topics – from the importance of power skills, to equipping managers with the ability to engage with their teams, to securing leadership buy-in for learning initiatives.
There was also occasion to celebrate our customers achievements. The RAVE (Remarkable Achievements and Visionary Elites) awards are our yearly moment to honour our customers in the UK, France, Netherlands and Spain. This year, customer wins included GMV, Flybe, Virgin Atlantic, Royal HaskoningDHV, Teleperformance, RPS Group, BNP Paribas and Danone.
