Guna Jayaraman is the Chief AI Officer of Cornerstone, with more than two decades spent building AI and enterprise technology at scale.

Prior to joining Cornerstone, Guna served as Vice President of Software Development at Amazon, leading engineering and product across HR, enterprise, and Generative AI for systems supporting millions of employees worldwide. Over his 13 years there, he pioneered conversational AI in customer service — work that influenced several AWS service launches including Connect, Comprehend, and Translate. His Amazon experience spans multiple business units including Fire TV, Retail, and Operations. Before Amazon, he held engineering roles at Palm, HP, and Cisco. Guna holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

A holder of multiple patents, he is recognized as a thought leader in next-generation AI — with particular focus on how agentic and intelligent systems can reshape the way organizations work.
