SkyHive by Cornerstone is a technology company that provides Quantum Labor Analytics solutions including through our SkyHive Platform and SkyHive Enterprise (“Services”). SkyHive services helps organizations and governments reskill workers and helps provide customers with a more efficient workforce. For each of our Services, SkyHive is the Data Processor as defined under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Customer is a Data Controller.

Personal data is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, whether alone or in combination with other data. We may collect and process personal data throughout our Services and business operations. Personal data that we may collect and process include:  Profile Data such as your first name, surname, company name, job title, and profile picture (if you choose to use one);  Contact Data such as your telephone number, employment location, and work email address;  Employment Data such as the name of your employer, department, position, direct manager, term of employment (start/end date), current and previous employment positions, and curriculum vitae; Skills and Education Data such as your educational history, employment credentials, hobbies and interests, training and professional development programs, and mentorship relationships; Account and Financial Data such as payment-related information, where applicable, information to register and administer a customer account;  Technical and Browsing Data such as IP address, information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies (see our Cookies Policy);  and, Any other personal data relating to you that you may provide. 

We may collect or receive your personal data in several different ways, including:  From you. Where you provide it to us directly, for example:  Corresponding with us by email or via other direct interactions with us; Account registration and/or adding information to your profile;  and Use of certain features of our Services, including browsing job posts and/or applying for positions. From your employer. Our Services provide an analytics platform for employers to assess workforce and labor needs. Employers may contribute personal data about you to our Services such as: Skills and credentials; Position in the organization and other direct employment information; Training and professional development achievements. From third-party sources. Where we receive personal data about you from a source other than you. For example: Through passive collection, such as when we monitor use of, or interactions with, our websites. When you visit our website, we may automatically receive and record information on logs and databases from your browser, application, or device, including but not limited to your Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data; Where we receive information about you from our clients to perform analysis and provide insights to those clients; or  We may use publicly available sources to expand and/or update our information about you and keep your personal data accurate and up to date. 

SkyHive only processes your personal data as instructed by the Controller, and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Some of the ways in which your data may be processed include:   Match prospective employees with employers – to match prospective employees with employers, we may share certain personal data of the employee with the employer such as the name, contact information, and/or skillset. Perform research and development, including to analyze trends and create reports based on information collected from the use of our Services – we may use a variety of tools and techniques, including machine learning and data analytics, to process, understand, analyze and report on the data collected from the use of our Services.  We may also conduct research and development on personal data to develop new products and offerings or to meet the needs of those clients. Where the reports generated do not include personal data, such reports may be shared and/or published at our discretion.   Keep you up to date on our latest Service announcements, updates, special offers, and other marketing information – you may edit your marketing preferences at any time. Provide our Services to you and to conduct our business – to administer and perform our services, including to carry out our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and SkyHive.  Facilitate the use of our website and to improve website functionality and relevance – to respond to requests for information or inquiries from visitors to our websites, to ensure that content from our websites is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device, and to improve the design and usability of our website.   Fulfill our legal, regulatory, or risk management obligations – to comply with our legal obligations, including contractual data processing obligations to our customers; for the prevention of fraud and/or other relevant background checks as may be required by applicable law, regulation and directives; to enforce our legal rights, to comply with our legal or regulatory reporting obligations and/or to protect the rights of third parties.  Update you regarding changes – to notify you about changes to our Services, your account, this Privacy Policy or other material changes. Meet our legitimate business needs – we may need to transfer or process your personal data to meet legitimate business needs, such as transferring your data in the case of re-organization or merger.

We may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties:  professional advisors such as our lawyers and accountants, if required. sub-processors to whom we outsource certain functions such as auditing services; data and website hosting; sharing with these service providers is subject to contractual limitations on their use of personal data. other third-party external advisors or experts engaged in the course of the services we provide to our clients. We may also process and/or share your personal data as we believe necessary  to:  comply with legal requirements, including disclosing your personal data to government, regulatory or law enforcement agencies in connection. with inquiries, proceedings or investigations by such parties anywhere in the world or where compelled to do so. transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a proposed or completed merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of SkyHive or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change incorporate control. enforce our contractual rights.  protect the Services, rights, privacy, safety, and property of you, SkyHive, or third parties. 

We may transfer your personal data internationally for processing and/or storage. When your personal data is transferred internationally, it is subject to foreign laws that may be less privacy protecting than the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which you reside. SkyHive undertakes to protect your personal data that is transferred internationally through legal mechanisms including the use of contractual arrangements that seek to impose rigorous privacy and data security practices. SkyHive uses the European Union’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement for applicable transfers to third-party Sub processors subject to cross border mechanisms. By providing us your personal data, you understand and agree to these international transfers.

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and any other permitted linked purpose. Where your personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or dispose of your data in accordance with applicable laws.

Privacy is important to SkyHive. We recognize and appreciate the importance of data security to our overall approach to the protection of personal data. We endeavor to maintain appropriate physical, technical and administrative security safeguards in accordance with the commitment to data security to our clients and with data security laws. Information that you provide is stored on secure servers and accessed and used subject to our security policies and standards, or those agreed with our service providers. SkyHive holds the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (ISO 27001) accreditation for its IT operations. ISO27001 is an internationally recognized certification that information security is managed in line with best practices. SkyHive has also completed a SOC2 for its primary Enterprise products and related systems. SOC2 compliance is a security framework that deals with how companies such as SkyHive securely handle personal data in the cloud. SkyHive employees and contractors, as well as third party service providers whom we may engage to process personal data on our behalf, are also contractually obligated to respect the confidentiality of personal data.  Information security, however, is a cooperative process. For example, where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites or online services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential and for complying with any other security procedures that we notify you of. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. 

Under certain circumstances and in accordance with applicable laws, you may have the right to require us to:  provide you with further information about the purposes for which we use your personal data;  provide you with a copy of information that we hold about you;  correct any inaccuracies in the personal data we hold;  delete any personal data that we no longer have a lawful basis to use or retain;  where processing is based on consent, to withdraw your consent so that we stop that particular processing;  object to or restrict any processing based on the legitimate interests ground unless our reasons for undertaking that processing outweigh any prejudice to your data protection rights; and  restrict how we use your information whilst a complaint is being investigated.  We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data remains accurate.
