Cornerstone Retains Strategic Leader Position in Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems for 2021

Fosway Group names Cornerstone as Strategic Leader in the Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems for the 8th consecutive year

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Feb. 1, 2021 – Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSOD), a global leader in people development solutions, today announced its Strategic Leader position in the Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems for 2021, retaining the leading position for the 8th year in a row.

“Cornerstone has shown continued investment, innovation and commitment in the learning space,” said David Wilson, CEO, Fosway Group. “Following its 2020 acquisition of Saba, Cornerstone has further consolidated its market presence globally and in Europe. It has invested significantly in innovation to accelerate the product roadmap to meet the evolving needs of even the largest and most complex enterprises.”

The Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems is a multi-dimensional model that can be used to understand the relative position of solutions and providers predominantly in the UK and European markets. Solutions are assessed based on their Performance, Potential, Market Presence, Total Cost of Ownership and Future Trajectories across the market.

“To earn the Strategic Leader position for the 8th year running is a fantastic achievement for Cornerstone,” said Vincent Belliveau, Chief Executive, EMEA for Cornerstone. “After a year like no other for businesses worldwide, we’re truly humbled to be recognized for our hard work in continuing to innovate and develop our learning solutions to support our clients during this time and beyond.”

Belliveau continues, “As our Innovation Lab for AI continues to take shape and evolve in EMEA, we want to ensure that our clients and prospects are always armed with the best-in-class tools and expertise, unlocking every potential that AI and data has to offer. 2021 will be the year of resilience, recovery and, of course, learning and we will be there every step of the way for our clients and the industry.”

In the last 12 months in EMEA, Cornerstone has seen huge growth in learning among its client base with 354M learning registrations in 2020, and 233M completions. The skills gap was quickly brought to the forefront once again for many organizations as they adapted to lockdown restrictions and where many had to deploy new business models, further highlighting the importance of learning and training in the workplace.

Cornerstone Learning customer, Nestlé, used the pandemic as an opportunity to accelerate its digital projects and adoption of off-the-shelf learning content through a new Corporate Learning Academy set up leveraging their Cornerstone LMS, finding that the switch helped to facilitate independent and proactive learning among its employees. Jo-Anne Rossouw, Head of Digital Learning at Nestlé, said, “Our employees are super important to our organization. It is our responsibility to provide development opportunities to empower them to learn and grow. We have been able to achieve this with the help of Cornerstone.”

Cornerstone continues to invest and strengthen its learning offerings, completing its Saba acquisition, as well as launching its free learning portal, Cornerstone Cares, to support those who may not have access to training content. The company’s latest initiative, The Cornerstone Innovation Lab for AI, a global center of excellence, aims to help HR teams realize the power of people data to boost learning and respond to dynamic business changes.
