Growing together: Cornerstone’s Q1 recap

Cornerstone Editors

As a leader in learning and talent experience for over two decades, Cornerstone has embarked on a continuous journey of redefining the future of work. 2024 will be no different. We’re on a path toward greater agility, alignment and adaptability – for our valued customers and for our own business.

As we say goodbye to another successful quarter, we’re inspired by the achievements of our customers and teams alike. From triumphant customer wins to exciting product enhancements to new partnerships that will inspire growth and agility across the business, 2024 has been off to a monumental start.

Read on to see everything Cornerstone was up to in Q1 and what’s still to come this year!

Cheering on our global customer community

There was no shortage of customer success in Q1 – our favorite moments to see! We celebrated a massive win for Cornerstone customer Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) as they were listed at #11 in the 2024 Training Magazine APEX Awards for best-in-class employee training and development. Join us in sending huge congratulations to the entire SNHU team. We love being a part of the L&D puzzle.

Our International Customer Success team had a front-row seat to even more customer celebrations as they wrapped up a standout Customer Success Summit in Malta. There, Cornerstone had the pleasure of connecting with our customers in person and building and sharing strategies for furthering their success and ensuring their organizations can experience the most value from our solutions.

Hear what our Chief International Officer Vincent Belliveau had to say about the event here.

We would be remiss not to mention the newest members of the Cornerstone squad who joined us during Q1, including:

  • ActOne Group
  • Bath Fitter
  • Goldbergs Group
  • Justrite Manufacturing
  • Truist

And a special shoutout to our valued customers whose relationships we’re proud to continue or expand:

  • Burns & McDonnell
  • Citizens Bank
  • Fruit of the Loom
  • Okta
  • Orlando Health
  • ResMed

Our customers spoke – we listened

Did you know that every 3 seconds, someone is engaging with a Cornerstone product? With that kind of reach comes a great deal of responsibility. Which is why our teams are constantly listening to customer feedback, addressing what matters most to them and seeking out new opportunities to deliver the greatest value to every person and organization who uses our products.

In Q1, we put those words into action with our March 2024 product release, where we focused on enhancing usability and capability to ensure a seamless experience for administrators and users alike. And while we’re thrilled to see the immediate improvements these have made to our customer experience, our pursuit to continuously innovate and enhance our products across our entire portfolio continues.

Creating a winning team with monumental partnerships

In Q1, we made a big splash with the announcement of two new iconic partnerships with two legendary athletes.

Kicking things off, we introduced our partnership with tennis star Sloane Stephens, a US Open champion and one of the top-ranked tennis players in the world. An avid learning advocate like us, we are thrilled to promote our shared vision and approach to lifelong learning, working together to power potential on and off the court.

We quickly followed up with a second and equally exciting partnership announcement, welcoming Melissa Stockwell, an American three-time Paralympian, former U.S. Army officer and co-founder of the Dare2tri Paratriathlon Club. Together, the Cornerstone team and Melissa will collaborate to encourage greater agility, alignment and adaptability in the worlds of sports and business.

For Cornerstone, these partnerships aren’t just an opportunity to highlight Sloane and Melissa’s athletic achievements, but instead to further reflect our continued commitment to empowering the growth, development and agility of people around the world and highlighting and promoting greater diversity and possibilities in the world of sports.

We are so proud to welcome both Sloane and Melissa as the newest members of the Cornerstone team and true representatives of our mission and brand.

Scaling spatial learning with the acquisition of Talespin

We've been intentional in our efforts to redefine the future of work in order to provide engaging, personalized, growth-centric experiences for everyone. In Q1, that journey was reflected in a big way as we announced the acquisition of Talespin, a leader in spatial learning focused on workforce skills development.

Talespin’s extended reality (XR) capabilities, which encompasses augmented, virtual and mixed reality, will bolster our robust content subscriptions and curation, creation and analytics technology. With the addition of Talespin, Cornerstone's complete learning content solution is undeniable. With this newest addition to our product suite, Cornerstone customers can deploy out-of-the-box, customized, or self-created immersive training for use cases across industries, such as manufacturing, healthcare, services and retail to address skills gaps and talent shortages.
