We can’t predict exactly what the future of work will look like, but if there’s one thing we’re pretty sure about, it’s that automation will play an increasingly important role in how we do our jobs. The World Economic Forum predicts that robots will take over 75 million jobs, but simultaneously create 133 million new jobs. While it can be tempting to worry about these statistics, HR must instead work with their employees to actively prepare for a more automated future. By investing in reskilling programs and taking responsibility for technological changes that could impact your workforce, you will be well-equipped for a world that puts both technology and people to work.
