Two words come to mind when we think about what Cornerstone was up to in Q3: customer centricity.
We filled the past quarter to the brim with exclusive customer events, incredible face-to-face interactions, new partnerships, celebrations for our customers' latest achievements and so much more. Within each of these moments, we relished in the opportunity to discuss current and future workforce challenges, empower others to be their most extraordinary and, most importantly, place our customers and their needs where they belong – at the heart of every decision.
If you didn’t get the chance to witness it all firsthand, or if you just want to see what the buzz is all about, read on for some of the exciting highlights.
1) Kicking off our Connect Live Tour in Los Angeles
Q3 was a monumental quarter for Cornerstone because it officially kicked off our 2023 Connect Live Tour.
We enjoyed our first stop in beautiful Los Angeles, where we connected with our worldwide customer and partner community and forged meaningful conversations to build successful and thriving talent programs for the future. We heard directly from Cornerstone customers, executives and industry visionaries, each tackling some of today’s most pressing industry challenges and topics — from AI to skill-based content experiences to creating holistic talent programs and more.
We left feeling inspired and even more connected to our customers. The best news is, we’re only just getting started. Keep following along with us as we continue the tour throughout London, Paris and Chicago!
2) Continuing the customer love with our latest customer award wins
At Cornerstone, there is no greater celebration than that of our customer wins. In Q3, we had the honor of doing just that.
Cornerstone customers Mahindra Group and Bristlecone made a big splash as they took home prestigious industry awards that recognized their steadfast commitment to learning, development and continuous growth for their organizations. Join us in sending a big congrats to Mahindra Group for taking home a Gold win for Best Approach to Implementing a LXP from the 2023 ETHRWorld Future Skills Awards and to Bristlecone for their Bronze wins for Best Approach to Implementing a LXP from the 2023 ETHRWorld Future Skills Awards and the 2023 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.

3) Taking our talents to the pitch with our new Chelsea FC Women partnership
The growing Cornerstone family didn’t stop there. In Q3, we were thrilled to announce a landmark new partnership with Chelsea FC Women. We’re honored for the opportunity to power Chelsea’s entire workforce — both on and off the pitch — as we integrate our solutions into the Club’s wider learning and development programs, empowering all staff to be their most extraordinary.
We can’t wait to see how Chelsea FC Women’s stars and past players use our learning and talent solutions to help them be the best version of themselves. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for our Cornerstone pitch-side branding and future Cornerstone-hosted events across Stamford Bridge, Kingsmeadow and Cobham!
4) Calling on organizations to invest in a holistic talent strategy
In between our customer events and celebrations, we also revealed some pretty eye-opening trends and research findings with the launch of our 2023 Talent Health Index.
Providing a comprehensive view of the state of talent programs across organizations worldwide, the report found most organizations are falling behind with their talent health initiatives. In fact, our data revealed a persistent gap between what employees think they need to be able to grow and develop at work, and what today's talent programs are actually providing them.
Key findings from our research included:
- Employees want more development opportunities from their organizations. Findings showed that 41% of employees don’t believe they have what they need to develop their skills.
- Most organizations have significant room for talent program improvement, with the average Talent Health Index score placing employers in the Administrative maturity level.
- Organizations are slow to adopt emerging talent innovation. Only 37% of organizations say they leverage learner-centric tools to streamline talent processes and info.
Check out the report here if you’d like to learn more.
You can also hear more about our Talent Health Index from Mike Bollinger, Global Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Cornerstone, during his recent interview with Human Resource Executive.
5) Cementing our position as a leader in learning and talent experience solutions
Receiving recognition from our peers, industry experts and key reports across the talent space is not only humbling, but a key motivator that keeps us striving to do more.
In Q3, we welcomed widespread industry recognition for our innovation across the talent landscape, commitment to making a difference in the world and executive leadership.
