Secondo uno studio di Udemy del 2018, quasi la metà dei dipendenti intervistati ha dichiarato di aver lasciato il lavoro a causa di un pessimo manager, mentre quasi due terzi ritenevano che il loro manager non avesse un'adeguata formazione manageriale.
In altre parole, i dipendenti non lasciano il posto di lavoro, bensì i loro superiori. Questa è una brutta notizia per le aziende che pianificano nell'ottica dell'innovazione, della successione e della longevità sul mercato. Il capitale umano è la risorsa più preziosa di un'organizzazione e il turnover dei dipendenti è oneroso in termini non solo di costi di ricerca, riassunzione e formazione, ma anche di produttività persa.
Ma essere un capo in gamba, o addirittura ottimo, non è semplice.
