Cheers to a year of innovation – closing out Q4 strong at Cornerstone

Cornerstone Editors

If Q4 cemented one thing, it's that our industry is ripe for reinvention. We’ve watched as talent experience continued to take on new meanings, adapting to the new world and new rules we’re living in. As leaders in the HR and talent space, we’re energized by the role we play at the forefront of this transformation, and the opportunity to create talent experiences that motivate, inspire and support people so they can reach limitless potential and success.

So, as we approached the end of another triumphant year, it was only right that we put our foot on the gas pedal to close out Q4 strong, setting ourselves and our customers up for success in the new year and beyond. From a legendary Cornerstone Convergence event to the announcement of our new Talent Experience Platform to continued growth inside our global customer base, you could say that Q4 was, in fact, the most wonderful time of the year.

Each of our latest milestones laid the groundwork in their own right for further innovations and enhancements in 2023, and we’re excited to share them with you, right here, in our newest roundup.

Unlocking limitless potential at Cornerstone Convergence

In our Q3 recap, we teased the upcoming return of our annual Cornerstone Convergence event, back live and in-person. Well, it happened. Here’s the rundown on #CornerCon22.

We took Resorts World Las Vegas by storm — alongside our incredible customers — for three jam-packed days of limitless learning opportunities, knowledge sharing and face-to-face conversations. We featured more than 85 breakout sessions with customers, product deep-dives and thoughtful panels with some of our industry’s brightest minds.

We also had the chance to announce some pretty great news. Among the most exciting announcements at Convergence was shared by our CEO Himanshu Palsule with the introduction of our new Talent Experience Platform (TXP) — what we like to call the blueprint for workforce transformation. Our new TXP will unite our portfolio of growth-centric learning and talent solutions with innovative people experiences, AI technology and an open architecture to unlock — you guessed it — limitless potential. The best part? We’ve only just scratched the surface, with TXP roadmap offerings already announced for early 2023, including:

  • Opportunity Marketplace: Extending the learning, performance and development experience by connecting career growth and mobility opportunities to employees.
  • Content Studio: Enabling both learning and business leaders to improve the way they discover, curate and deliver content to their people.
  • Skills Innovations: Opening up our proprietary skills data to create the industry’s first open skill ontology. We'll also be launching Cornerstone Skills Studio, a new product that builds on the technology foundation of the Cornerstone Skills Graph and EdCast’s Skills DNA.

The party didn’t stop after Convergence, either. We quickly followed up our annual customer event with two “Connect Live” events in London and Paris, where we found ourselves once again live and in-person with more incredible customers and more opportunities for learning, networking and expert sessions.

We left each of these customer events feeling more inspired than ever, ready to take 2023 by storm with our unmatched customers by our side.

Breaking down boundaries in our modern learning content

In Q4, the talent landscape continued to experience demand for modern learning content as the new world of work required unique and powerful skill sets for employees. We were excited to answer this demand with the announcement of our expanded content portfolio. Here’s a quick run-through for our loyal readers:

Cornerstone’s expanded content portfolio now includes:

  • Content Studio: Enabling organizations to seamlessly discover, match, align and curate content from multiple catalogs — Content Studio provides learning and business leaders elevated visibility into the performance and adoption of content and provides intelligent recommendations on action to take across learners.
  • Cornerstone Content Anytime: Cornerstone Content Anytime is now available to every, and any, learning platform. The expanded access will enable every company to develop their learners with expertly created and curated content that builds power skills.

Each of these updates will play a pivotal role in collapsing boundaries between content producers and learners, content and skill building.

The content wins didn’t stop there...

We also launched a new season of our award-winning original learning series, A Seat at the Table.

In season two, we're once again tackling the nuances of how to engage in sensitive conversations about provocative social topics. Through A Seat at the Table, we’re proud to say we are effectively helping organizations cultivate a culture of learning through unscripted, honest and respectful discussions around sensitive topics. Whether it be an honest discussion around antisemitism, imposter syndrome or addiction, each of these raw conversations is imperative for each of our workforces.

Connecting with our customers all around the globe

Throughout Q4, we had the opportunity to do more of what we love most — hear from our customers, firsthand. From India to London to Japan, our leaders spent much of Q4 traveling the world to meet with countless esteemed customers. We listened to their stories, celebrated their successes and felt right at home in our shared vision for limitless learning.

Each visit further cemented one prominent fact for our teams: there is a clear demand for modern learning and talent technology.

We also welcomed a number of new customers to the team in Q4, including:

  • Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • GNC Holdings
  • NYC School Construction Authority
  • PPC Partners
  • Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division
  • Yamaha Motor Corporation USA

And had the pleasure of expanding our existing relationships with:

  • Alliant Insurance
  • Allscripts
  • Chubb
  • Enercon Services
  • Experian

To put it simply, Q4 was chock-full of customer love. No doubt Q1 will be the same.
