When it comes to the modern workplace, it’s important to create a culture that empowers people to bring their true selves to work. For one thing, people who like their jobs and their colleagues stay longer. Plus, a strong company culture both improves company morale and saves organizations money.

But what happens when your employees get too comfortable? They end up doing more socializing at work than work itself, which can have negative impacts on your business. Your HR department can address the problems caused by overly-social employees by having one-on-one conversations with these individuals, or instituting rules around social conversations at work.
